1. About Business Owners Boardroom
Business Owners Boardroom ("BOB", "we", "us", "our") operates a private, invitation-based peer advisory board for experienced business owners. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our website at bobr.com.au and your participation in the Business Owners Boardroom membership program. By requesting a seat, booking a call, or otherwise engaging with us, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
2. Eligibility and Application
Business Owners Boardroom is designed for experienced business owners and CEOs who do not currently have a formal board. Membership is not open to early-stage advice seekers, referral hunters, or spectators.
Requesting a seat does not guarantee membership. All applications go through a fit assessment, and we reserve the right to accept or decline any application at our sole discretion, without obligation to provide a reason.
3. Membership Terms
Each board is limited to ten seats. Members are expected to
- Attend the monthly board meeting for their group.
- Commit to the same table, month after month, rather than attending irregularly.
- Come prepared to bring real decisions, tensions, and opportunities to the room.
- Follow up on commitments made in previous sessions.
Specific fees, billing frequency, and minimum term commitments will be set out in your individual membership agreement or invoice.
4. Confidentiality
Confidentiality is central to how the Business Owners Boardroom operates. Members may share sensitive, commercially significant, and personal information about their businesses during sessions.
- Keep confidential all information shared by other members during board sessions, and not disclose it outside the room without that member's consent.
- Use information shared in the boardroom only for the purpose of participating meaningfully in that session, not for commercial advantage.
- Understand that the Business Owners Boardroom cannot guarantee that other members will comply with this obligation, and is not liable for breaches by individual members.
5. Fees and Payment
Membership fees are payable in accordance with the terms provided at the time of acceptance. [Insert specific pricing, payment schedule, and accepted payment methods before publishing.] Fees are non-refundable except where required by Australian Consumer Law.
6. Cancellation and Termination
Members may cancel their membership by providing written notice to info@bobr.com.au.
7. Code of Conduct
Members are expected to engage honestly, respectfully, and constructively. Business Owners Boardroom is not a space for solicitation, sales pitches to other members, or the exchange of referral fees, and members engaging in this conduct may be asked to leave the program.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on the Business Owners Boardroom website, including text, graphics, and branding, is owned by or licensed to Business Owners Boardroom and may not be reproduced without our written consent.
9. Limitation of Liability
Business Owners Boardroom provides a facilitated peer environment and does not provide financial, legal, tax, or professional advice. Any decisions made by a member as a result of participation in the boardroom remain the member's sole responsibility. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Business Owners Boardroom excludes liability for any loss arising from participation in the program, except where such exclusion is not permitted under Australian Consumer Law.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia, Australia. Any disputes arising from these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Western Australia.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of our website or participation in the program after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
12. Contact us
For questions about these Terms, contact us at info@bobr.com.au or write to us at Perth, Western Australia.
